01 — The company
GarnetShores W.L.L. was incorporated in 2019 by a small team with long experience of maintenance management in the energy sector. The founding premise was straightforward: asset owners need inspection and repair work done at height, on live plant, without the cost and schedule burden of scaffolding — and they need it done to a documented, auditable standard.
We began with rope access crews working to the IRATA method, and have added hydraulic bolting and on-site machining, then composite repair, as clients asked us to take on wider scopes under the same call-off arrangements. Today our campaigns cover preventive and corrective maintenance at onshore facilities and offshore locations, from routine inspection programmes to shutdown and campaign work executed against tight outage windows.
The company is deliberately focused. We do not build, fabricate or hold construction contracts. We maintain — and we measure ourselves on the things maintenance clients actually judge: safe man-hours, first-time quality, complete documentation and honest reporting.

General Manager
John Derek founded GarnetShores in 2019 after fifteen years in construction and maintenance management for energy-sector contractors in the region. He holds overall responsibility for commercial performance, client relationships and supervision standards across all call-off campaigns.
HSE Manager
Ravi Chandran has spent eighteen years in health, safety and environment roles on onshore and offshore projects internationally. He owns the permit-to-work and task risk assessment framework and audits every campaign before mobilisation.
Operations Manager
João Pereira is responsible for planning and delivering rope access, bolting and composite repair scopes at onshore and offshore locations. A mechanical engineer by training, he has managed shutdown and campaign work for LNG and petrochemical operators since 2008.
